A 2 day tour of the iconic landmarks and inspiring stories behind New York City’s Christian heritage

DAY 1: Explore the history of the early Christian colonists and founding fathers. Visit the church where George Washington prayed after his inauguration, and where Alexander Hamilton was a pew holder. Discover which church is Manhattan’s oldest public building in continuous use. Pay tribute to the fallen heroes of 9/11 by visiting memorials.

Then experience all the holiday traditions that make New York City spectacular during this time of year. Visit the iconic Christmas tree in Rockefeller Center and the nearby St. Patrick’s Cathedral. Enjoy the beautiful window displays and decorations along 5th Avenue.

DAY 2: Cross the East River and explore the Christian heritage of Brooklyn, which was once called the City of Churches. Visit a church that was part of the Underground Railroad network and learn about the passionate Brooklynites who fought for social justice as abolitionists.
