Alicia
was 30 years, four months, and two days old when she realized she wouldn’t be able to get by on cuteness alone. It was then that she left the confines of her cubicle and started putting her brains and her Bachelor’s degree in Art History and Architecture to good use—by sharing her love of New York City’s tallest inhabitants with visitors and locals alike. A firm believer that the pen is mightier than the sword, when she isn’t digging up dirt on the city’s past, she’s sabering sharp marketing prose for local spas, restaurants, and bars (and finding excuses to perform extensive “research” on each proprietor’s menu). In fact, she won an award for “Best Local Flavor” for a piece she wrote on a local spa. Her favorite NYC building is the Municipal Building (though it’s been known to change weekly) and her favorite painting in the city is Jackson Pollock’s Full Fathom Five.
